Building Componets
6" Red Head Expandable Bolts
All buildings on concrete slab come with red head expandable bolt in between every 5ft center. On the expandable bolts no preparation is needed prior to the installation. Our crews mark and pre-drill the holes themselves to get a precise location of where the bolts will be anchored into the slab.
3ft Mobile Home Achors
Mobile homer anchors are optionaire for a stronger tie down.
When ordering a certified building mobile home anchors will be included in order to stay compliant with certification wind speeds.
Mobile home anchors cannot be installed on concrete slabs.
Best recommended every 20ft to install an anchor.
Base Rails
Base rails are the section of the building that sit on the ground, This is where either a rebar, expandable bolt or mobile home anchor get attached to. The base rail also has connections so the legs can slip into and are long enough to give installers a little play to level out the building.
Windows
30"x30" or 30"x36" Grid Window single panel shop window. When installed all windows are trimmed and caulked around perimeter. We understand that sometimes different windows might be requested rather than the standard sizes we provide. If customer provides windows we can install them at a set labor cost per window and frame out charge.
Doors
Walk-In-Doors 36"x80" are easily placed throughout the building. All doors come standard with a diamond Window but can be requested as a solid door without a window. When ordering a walk in door placement of doors are set along side an upright leg for framing purposes. If you need precise measurements and it falls within an upright a header would be included within the bid for proper placement.
Roll up doors
Roll-Up-Doors come in over 27 different sizes with a selection of 6 different colors. When selecting a roll-up-door for your vehicle its always recommended to go 4ft wider than what your vehicle is in width. This way it prevents you from folding in mirrors when pulling into your building. Roll-up-doors wider than 10ft will be chain-hoist doors when ordering a chain-hoist door its always recommended to order a walk-in-door as well.
Ordering Process
Order Process
Step 1: Manufacturing
Ordering #1
Initial Visit, when you first talk to one of our Sales Representatives whether it be Inhouse, Lot Dealer or Online. We can design as you request given you a live visual of what to expect and decide what changes you would like to make. Our 3D Designer has endless modifications and possibilities making every building a customized building to fit your needs. With a small deposit and signatures our order process will start.
Confirmation #3
After the order has been reviewed and everything is confirmed we will call you the customer to go over all building specifics to ensure proper fabrication of your customized building. Within that same call you will be asked if your site is level (refer to our site preparation page). When you confirm that your site is leveled and is ready for installation, your lead time will begin. If you are not ready for installation due to site still being prepared, your order will be put on hold. Once prepared, you must call the main office to confirm your availability for your lead time to begin.
Review #2
Once we receive your order, we will review it to ensure that there are no errors both on pricing and building design. If an error is found, we will contact your building specialist and also contact you if necessary, to ensure that everything is correct or needs to be corrected.
Manufacture #4
After your order has been confirmed, the production of your metal building materials will begin. Once the necessary components have been made and staged, your order will then move over to scheduling.
Step 2: Scheduling
Organization of Run #5
Once your building has been made and staged for installation, Scheduling will take your order and find other staged buildings in your area to maximize the installer's time and efficiency. Once the run is assembled, the scheduling rep. will contact you to confirm the respective order of installation.
Installation Order #7
When the Scheduling Rep. calls you to confirm the day of installation, if you are first on the list, installers will typically arrive early in the morning. If you are not first on the list, the scheduling rep. cannot give you an accurate time of arrival because it depends on how long the installer takes on finishing the building before yours. If the installers are falling behind schedule you could be waiting until the following installation day (either tuesday or friday). If you are scheduled for a certain day and are not first on the list the installer will call you in advance once they are finished with the current job and are heading your way.
Installation Schedule #6
There are two loads per week that the installers go out on route for installation.
Monday and Tuesday = Installation days
Wednesday = Loading Day
Thursday and Friday = Installation days
Saturday = Loading Day
Sunday = Off
Step 3: Installation
Crews #9
The installation crew will arrive with a dually pickup truck and attached trailer that will total 55'-70' long. Therefore, remote locations, steep hills, or sites located far into the fields might be inaccessible to the crews. The decision to install remains in the sole discretion of the installation crew. Unless it was mentioned prior to going onsite and customer made it aware to either the sales representative or the main office that the site was inaccessible. All inaccessible lands will have a fee depending on how far the installers have to carry material for installation.
Preparation #8
The location of where the metal building will be installed must be leveled within 3" from front and back and side to side, as well as being squared for proper installation (refer to "site preparation" page). Ensure the surface is level to avoid incurring and additional fees. If your building has roll up doors, the side were the door(s) will be installed must be completely level to avoid any cracks/openings underneath the door(s) that could potentially let in water, dust or pest.
Completion #10
Once Installers Arrive onsite and foundation is good for installation. Installers will typically take within one to two days to complete your building unless it's a more detailed project that might take anywhere from four to five days. Once the installers are finished with your building, they will request for you to confirm everything turned out just how you ordered the building and final payment can be handed to them or you can call in the office to make final payment.
